The Classification Of Commonly Used Water-Based Paint Additives

According to the physical and chemical nature of the coating, the coating additives can be divided into several categories, such as solvent-based paint additives, water-based paint additives and powder coating additives. A more practical classification is according to coating functionality, performance and composition. Water-based paint additives can be divided into the following categories.

Wetting agent: including substrate material wetting agent and pigment filler wetting agent, anti-foam substrate wetting agent, non-ionic wetting agent.

Film forming agent: plasticizer, polymerization agent, cosolvent, cosolvent.
